Michael Dwayne Vick (born June 26, 1980, in Newport News, Virginia) is a professional American football quarterback. Vick is currently a free agent, though suspended from NFL play. Vick played college football at Virginia Tech. As a quarterback, he was remarkable for both his running and passing abilities. In 1999, he set the NCAA record for passing efficiency by a freshman and won several awards. He placed third in the Heisman Trophy balloting, then also a record for a freshman. Giants lose to Eagles

The Eagles beat the San Francisco Giants 27-13.

Michael Vick was forced out of Sunday’s game against San Francisco with a bruised thigh.

Vick was stopped on a third-and-1 late in the first quarter and left the field on his own power. He took a seat on the bench and was treated by the training staff.

Vick left for the locker room at the end of the quarter.

Vick was on the field for three plays. He ran twice for 2 yards.
